Blue-throated Bee-eater originally comes from Java, widely lives in south-east asian countries. Same as other bee-eaters, it nesting in sandy ground and catches flies be their food. As same as its name, the throat is in blueish colour and stomach in green colour. Above cover shown two different illustrations of Blue-throated Bee-eater, they are painted by same illustrator. The illustration on the cover cut from leaflet of Singapore new definitive stamps, which issued on May of 2009.
Thanks Singapore Philatelic Bureau packed the cover well before send it to me, they done a good job of this cover.
